Cheesesteak Sliders

These delicious cheesesteak sliders on Hawaiian rolls brushed with garlic butter are an easy recipe perfect for a game day, parties, or an actual meal.  These bite-sized sandwiches pack a mean punch of flavor, and if you like cheesesteak, you'll love these cheesesteak sliders.

Ingredients
  • 1 1/2 lb shaved beef
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 1 tbsp minced garlic
  • 1/2 small onion (thinly sliced)
  • 1 cup fresh mushrooms (chopped)
  • 1/2 large green bell pepper (sliced)
  • 1/2 tsp seasoning salt
  • 1/2 tsp ground back pepper
  • 12 Hawaiian Rolls
  • mayo (desired amount)
  • 6 slices provolone cheese
  • 3/4 cup cheese wiz (warmed)
  • Garlic Butter
  • 3 tbsp salted butter
  • 1/2 tsp minced garlic
  • 1/2 tsp italian parsley (minced)
  • 1/2 tsp dried oregano
Instructions
  1. Prepare the onions, mushrooms, and bell pepper. Onions and and peppers should be thinly sliced, and mushrooms chopped.
  2. Heat oil in a large skillet, and saute' the garlic, onion, mushrooms, and bell pepper for about 7 minutes or until a little softened. Then set aside.
  3. Add the steak, seasoning salt and black pepper to the skillet. Cook until the meat is almost done.
  4. Add the veggies back into the skillet with the meat, stir, and simmer until fully cooked
  5. Slice the Hawaiian Rolls in half, you'll have a top layer and a bottom layer
  6. Place the bottom layer of the rolls in a lightly greased baking dish or baking sheet
  7. Spread the bottoms of the rolls with mayo.
  8. Add the provolone cheese slices on top of the mayo.
  9. Next evenly layer the meat and veggies on top of the provolone.
  10. Next add a dollop of the warmed cheese wiz to each slider.
  11. Now add the top layer of the rolls
  12. Garlic Butter
  13. Lightly brush the tops of the rolls with half of the garlic butter, then place a sheet of foil over the sliders
  14. Place sliders in the oven and bake at 350 for about 10-12 minutes, then remove foil and bake an additional 5 minutes.
  15. Remove from oven and brush the remaining garlic butter on each slider, then serve.
