Crab Cakes

Crab cakes made easy with lump crab meat and old bay! Crab cakes are great as appetizers or a main dish. No need to feel intimidated to make them at home because they are just that easy to make.  This simply put together recipe turns into a impressive crowd pleaser!

Ingredients
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley (chopped)
  • 2 tsp dijon mustard
  • 2 tsp worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tsp old bay seasoning
  • 1 lb lump crab meat
  • 2/3 cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 tbsp melted butter
Instructions
  1. Whisk the egg, mayonnaise, parsley, dijon mustard, worcestershire sauce, and old bay seasoning together in a large bowl.
  2. Add the crab meat to the mixture, followed by the breadcrumbs. Gently combine all ingredients together with a spatula.
  3. Cover bowl tightly and refrigerate at least 30 minutes.
  4. Preheat oven to 450° and spray baking sheet with nonstick spray.
  5. Using a 1/2 cup measuring cup fill with crab cake mixture and release onto baking sheet. The mixture should make 6 cakes.
  6. Brush each crab cake with melted butter and bake for 12-15 minutes or until lightly browned around the edges. Serve warm!

  • The crab cakes taste great with a drizzle of fresh lemon juice.
