Hot Honey Chicken Tenders
Crispy fried chicken tenders dunked in a sweet and spicy honey sauce that makes this recipe unbelievably delicious! Not to mention super easily made and can be great as dinner with fries or a party dish.

Ingredients

buttermilk

paprika

seasoning salt

hot sauce

vegetable oil
(for frying)

flour
(for coating)
Hot Honey Sauce

1/2 cup
hot sauce
-
1/2 cup
honey
Instructions

Clean chicken tenders and set aside

In a extra large dish add the eggs, buttermilk, hot sauce, and seasonings and mix well
-
add the chicken tenders to the buttermilk mixture (making sure all the chicken is covered) Place in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to soak

After chicken is done soaking heat a skillet of oil

Place flour (and additional seasonings if desired in a bag and shake to mix)

Remove chicken tenders piece by piece and add to flour, then add to heated oil

Cook tenders approximately 5-6 minutes on each side or until done, set aside on paper towel to drain the oil.
Hot Honey Sauce

Mix the hot sauce and honey together in a bowl and place in microwave for 1 minute.

Add a few pieces at a time to the sauce and remove, pour the remaining sauce over the chicken as well or use as a side dipping sauce.
Recipe Notes
- Can substitute tenders with wings if preferred
- Great with a side of ranch
- Can also increase spiciness by adding more hot sauce
