Bang Bang Shrimp

Try this bang bang shrimp recipe as an appetizer or a main dish.  Yummy crispy shrimp coated in a sweet and savory sauce made so easily and quick! This shrimp recipe is definitely a keeper and can easily become a favorite in your household.

  • In a small bowl add the mayo, sweet chili sauce, and sriracha and stir until well combined.
  • In a medium to large bowl add the shrimp and buttermilk and toss to coat all the shrimp.
  • drain the buttermilk from the shrimp and lightly season with salt and pepper.
  • Coat the shrimp in the cornstarch ( I usually pour my cornstarch into a storage bag with the shrimp and shake)
  • Heat the oil in pan or skillet
  • Fry shrimp until lightly golden brown 2 minutes on each side.
  • Once done coat the shrimp with the sauce and serve immediately.

Notes

  • Just add a little more sriracha for more spice
  • I found the cornstarch makes crispier shrimp
  • Makes a great appetizer
